June ‘22: Ammai sannadhi construction has been brought up to roof stage
May ‘22: Basement works of Ammai and sandeeswarar are being carried out.
April ‘22: Works for the shrine of lord shiva has been completed and the works for the ammai's shrine has been srtarted
September ‘21: Construction of shrine is complete and carving of sculptures are being carried out. Potential delay due to COVID
July ’21: Shrine for Lord Siva is almost complete. Construction site for Goddesses Shrine has been identified and work has been started
June ’21: Installation of sculptures on the Dome is under progress
May ’21: Dome construction is complete and application of cement layer throughout the construction is under progress
April ’21: Roof construction is complete and the dome of the sanctum sanctorum is being built
March ’21: Side walls has been erected. Reinforced concrete roof construction is under progress
February ‘21: Kaakaakotur is a rural village located in Thiruvarur district comprising of about 75-100 families. The devotees of Kaakaakotur had started constructing a temple for Siva Lingam and Ammai’s idol found in their neighborhood. The construction was temporarily paused for various reasons. On information, Aranpani members visited the location and joined with the devotees of Kaakaakotur in restarting the temple construction activities.
