May ’21: The Agatheeswarar Temple located in Perumpugalur Village (Nanilam Tk, Thiruvarur district) was in total ruins when one of the villagers approached Aranpani Trust to help fund and restore the temple. The estimated cost for this was 54 lakhs and Aranpani has agreed to contribute 7 lakhs. A generous sivanadiyar from Tirupur who prefers to remain anonymous, has agreed to donate 5 lakhs. The people from the village have collectively raised 42 lakhs. By the grace of Lord Shiva, restoration work for the temple has started.
